Description of service
My mountain bike was losing air from its back tire fairly quickly so that every time I wanted to ride it anywhere, I would have to put more air in. It would keep the air in its tires for that day but the next day I would have to add air again. It got pretty annoying so I took it in to get a new inner tube for the tire.
The person at the bicycle store put a new inner tube in the tire right there while I was waiting.
Review of Service
The service was great. It was inexpensive and quick - I hardly had to wait at all. The repair person seemed like he did this many many times a day and had it down to an exact science. He didn't really talk to me but that was fine - he just popped the new inner tube in the tire and I was ready to go.
Tips
It would obviously save money if I knew how to do this myself but honestly, for $6 I would rather not expend the energy or brainpower to learn how to change the inner tube. It's so much easier to take the bike to the bike store - which is close to my house - than learn how to change it. But if you really don't want to pay that $6, learn how to do it yourself.
