the Cost of Dodge Repair

This service was for the general servicing of the vehicle, cleaning up of the engine, servicing and oil change, new oil filter, 5 quarts of oil, used oil disposal fee, new air filter, new PCV valve, antifreeze check, battery check, topping off of windshield fluid, cleaning up of the engine compartment, replacement of windshield wipers and finally completing the state inspection for the car.

Overall I thought the service was expensive, but due to a time crunch my wife had to get it done. The service seemed to be rushed. The oil change was satisfactory, with the change of the filter and oil and then the removal of the contaminated filter and oil. The PCV valve was also replaced during this time. This did not seem to help much as when we got home we found an oil leak on the driveway. I felt the service could have been better, and the quality of the work seemed very poor at best. In truth the work performed could have been done for a fraction of the cost, but it seems that several things were sold to my wife in my absence.

I wish my wife would have had a little more time to prepare before going into see the mechanic, as I feel she was taken advantage of.
