I am a man with fairly short hair, so my haircut isn't the most complex, but I still want it to look nice. The lady that cuts my hair uses exclusively scissors so it takes a bit longer than usual, but it is a better looking haircut than with trimmers.
Review of Service
The most amazing thing about the salon that I go to is that I always have really great conversations with the stylist. She remembers my family and what's going on in my life. I some times have trouble remembering my friends names. So it amazes me what she can remember. I once went in after six months of growing my hair, so it was quite curly and extremely long and to my surprise the haircut still cost $25. Of course I tip $5, which makes the haircut even more unbelievably cheap. I almost feel bad how cheap the haircut is so I always try to tip well.
Tips
A haircut can be very uncomfortable, so I would recommend that you find a stylist that you can relate to and have good conversations with because it's not only about the haircut, which by the way looked great, but it's also about a comfortable experience that will keep you coming back.
