Description of service
I was in the market for a haircut but wanted to save a few dollars by trying a place I've never gone to before. I usually pay about $20 for a haircut and styling. I brought a business card with me and showed my photo to the hair stylist and asked if she could copy that style. She said yes.
She asked if I wanted a cut or a trim. I told her that she's the pro, she should suggest. She suggested a trim.
Review of Service
About 10 minutes later, my hair was "trimmed". Did she copy the photo on my card? Not at all. It looked like I didn't have a cut or a trim at all. I was dissatisfied but could not say anything to her because she spoke no English and I had to pay because there was another customer waiting. And that's right, no tip.
I later went back to my other hair salon and got my usual hair cut. And all together, I paid about $23. Who would have imagined getting two haircuts in one day? I would never return to the $10.50 haircut place again. I think it will be fine for men's hair, but not women's hair.
Tips
If you are a woman, be careful of low prices (anything less than $20) unless you see women coming out of there really happy instead of dazed and confused. If you are a man, you have it easy.
