Description of service

I had my hair cut at a chain place for just 12.99. This was a basic cut, with no shampoo. The shampoo would have doubled the price. Though it said basic cut, it should have said basic trim.

Review of Service

I was actually unhappy with the cut, not because it looked bad and I couldn't go out in public, but because there just wasn't a difference in my hair, though I had specified what I wanted. All she did was trim the ends. She didn't even touch my bangs, which are so grown out now.

Tips

I'm not sure if they are always like this. I used to go to a woman in town who ran her own salon and had just the one chair, but she moved away and I had to go somewhere else. I couldn't find anyone for the price I used to pay, so I had to go to one of the chain places. I should have just paid a little more and gotten someone to actually give my hair a style, not just a trim. So, if you do have to go to one of those places, be really specific up front so you don't find yourself wondering when the stylist is going to finish...only to realize she IS done!
