Description of service
When we had a full time house keeper we paid her $200 per week. You have to be paid at least minimum wage and at that time is was $5.15. She worked for us full time. Now in most states the minimum wage has been raised by a few dollars and it will be more expensive to keep a full time house keeper. By full time I would consider for the housekeeper to work at least five hours a day and usually five days a week. Those are the hours ours worked. If you choose to tip also, you can, just use your best discretion on what you feel is fair based upon how well your house keeper works and if they do anything extra, of course you can tip extra. This was a full time house keeper, but not a live in house keeper. This was also not her only job. House keeping doesn't usually pay that much so you sometimes need another part time job.
Review of Service
I would think that $200-$300 per week you can find a full time house keeper. You can work out what hours you would like them to work and also you can negotiate the best price for both of you. Its always negotiable.
Tips
Call a cleaning service. You can find full time house keeper and also part time. Most people use part time house keepers, but the same cleaning service also have full time house keepers that are available for hire.
