Description of service
I have a house keeper that comes twice a month to do all the things that I don't want to do. For the price, the house keeper sweeps and mops the floors, vacuums the carpet and rugs, dusts the furniture and blinds, cleans the toilets and bathtubs, and cleans mirrors. She also washes windows and wipes down ceiling fans as needed. She does not do anything with the laundry or dishes. She also disposes of the materials she uses in the cleaning of the house.
Review of Service
I love this house keeper. I have been through a couple whose work has seemed to diminish over time. I have not had this problem with my current one, and I have had her for over a year. The money I pay is well worth it to me so that I do not have to spend time away from my family to do these chores on my "free time". I love coming home to floors and furniture that are spotless and not having to worry about having to do it for myself.
Tips
I would advise asking people you know for recommendations of house keepers that they trust. If you cannot do that, I would advise getting references. There are too many stories of house keepers who have violated the trust of their clients. I also advise to put the duties that you expect them to perform in writing, so there will be no question as to what was expected of the house keeper should a problem arise.
