The cost being paid is $50 per visit, with two visits per month. This includes the housekeeper providing the majority or cleaning supplies, not including the vacuum cleaner, or the mop. This does not include dishes, running out the garbage, picking up after pets or even laundry.

Overall am extremely happy with the service, it allows for a good thorough cleaning every other week. I have a vacuum cleaner and a mop so the cleaner uses my equipment. If I don't like a certain cleaning product, then of course I can provide my own. The service includes cleaning the bathroom, sweaping and mopping, vacuuming the carpeted areas and dusting. The service doesn't include changing sheets, doing laundry or dishes, running out the garbage or picking up after the pets. Keeping this in mind I have to ensure that the pets are put away before the cleaner shows up and that there isn't a mess hiding somewhere in the house. It was the least expensive that I could find, because I was able to get references and negotiate my cleaning service.

Find a good reference for the cleaner that you are talking to. Make sure the person trustworthy and competant and is willing to work with you.
