Description of service
The class was (is) a 6 week class that meets once a week for an hour per session. It meets at the local high school. It is a beginner children (under 12) swim class, and the parents must be in attendance during the sessions. The $55 represents the total fee for the 6 sessions of the class.
Review of Service
We are pleased with how the class is coming along (it is still in progress with two sessions remaining). Very friendly atmosphere while still providing valuable hands-on training at the same time. They make it relaxing and easy to get into the water for the children that are 'afraid' while still providing great skill training at the same time. I would recommend to anybody!
Tips
My number 1 tip would be to look for a program done through a local school, or community type group. This will save a lot of money compared to lessons done through private companies. They usually provide the same level of training, and often times in a more friendly enviornment. A lot of the school or community-based trainings are staffed by student volunteers from the swim team that are often life guards and are fully trained and capable. These staffers are not only friendly with the children, but also provide for a more economical program.
