Description of service
The price of $125 included eight sessions at a local pool, with the first session being entirely on land, the next session just getting the kids a little wet and comfortable with the the idea of going in the water, and then the remaining sessions were all in the water. There was an instructor and an assistant, and there were 10 kids in the class, all of them at the same beginning level. Classes were held twice per week.
Review of Service
Swimming lessons are just one of those things that you have to make kids do, and our son was scared at first, but by the end he was paddling and swimming around in the kids pool, so we were very satisfied with the service and the result. The instructor and her assistant were patient and encouraging and it was clear that they were used to working with little kids. They did a nice job keeping the goup focused and getting all but one kid to a point where they would get in the water by themselves and seemed to like swimming. The price was very fair and the facility was really nice with a large pool and a separate small pool for the beginners.
Tips
Even if your child doesn't want to do it, making sure that they know how to swim is important. Look around for a nice facility with a small class size and make sure that you are there with your child to reassure them during the process.
