Description of service
So I decided to take my youngest child for swimming lessons during March break for a week. I registered with my local community center (which is close to my home). At the end of the week, I paid $150 for four times a week for an hour a day. Other services included free of cost were access to locker room and training floating tubes.
Review of Service
It wasn't worth it at all. The timings were flexible as they were in late afternoon so I usually went after work but for one week, $150 was a lot! My son didn't even learn anything (well just a little bit). It wasn't their fault, I just didn't have time to continue for more than a week. The lady at the pool was nice enough to give me a coupon (one lesson additional for free) if I were to register my son again for a two week program.
Tips
Don't go for weekly packages, they are too expensive. Instead, I found monthly and even like 3 months packages were much cheaper. I first researched private swimming lessons but they out of my budget. Community centers are accessible and much cheaper as they provide services to the community.
