Description of service

Museum tour, art tour, description and history of artist and origin of artist and works of art. WOrk closely with curator to learn one on one about art history and museum history.

Review of Service

In January a friend and I took a tour of one of the most prestigious art museums in Manhattan. It was a wonderful experience. Not only did we have a chance to learn about each artist but also about the history that led to that type of particular art. I had no idea all the different styles of art and who started what genre. It's very interesting to read about various artists however working with one person one on one the things you learn tend to stick and you will remember more this way. I enjoyed it, thought it was definitely worth the price and both my friend and I said we would go again. Very enjoyable experience. The price was a little steep and once you get through the 1st hour it can get a little boring but if you are really into art or thinking of investing then this is a great way to learn about what is important in seeking art work.

Tips

Make sure you hire someone who has worked in the field for a long time or who has studied in the field of art. Also bring a camera if you can, that way you can take pictures of the art that inspires you. If your looking to buy this is an excellent way to find out what's a good art investment.
