Description of service
The tour was on the riverfront in the town of Astoria. It was a wonderful museum that had all kinds of exhibits to look at. The tour guide was walking our group around in circles showing us different stuff and giving very descriptive information about the exhibit. There was a few interactive areas and those were the best because you could really have fun with you children because the boring information can really get them antsy.
Review of Service
I thought the tour guide was not the right person for the job, he should have been the one behind the scenes researching the job, or perhaps giving only tours to older people who are only interested in information. He was very dull and did not keep everyone entertained, you would have people wondering off on their own because the tour guide just had a bad public speaking voice. His voice was monotone and he never really made any jokes, just showed you the area, and explained what it was about, then moved on. Other then that he was very knowledgeable so i think he still did his "job" just not the right way.
Tips
I would just avoid the guided tour and go on your own if you have children. I would only recommend the group tour if you want to learn the specialized information not on the plaques in front of the stations.
