Description of service
A group of about twelve students and I booked a tour for a history museum in New York City. We had a reservation scheduled at 10:00 in the morning and we arrived a few minutes prior. We got a group discount because we called ahead to book it in advance. We also recieved a student discount so we each paid $22 dollars. We were told that if we had not booked out tour in advance we would have paid $30 per person. The tour lasted about two hours all together. We were led my an older gentleman who had worked at the museum for years.
Review of Service
Overall the tour was pretty good. At times I felt that we sped through some of the rooms that I would have liked to have spent more time in. I think our tour guide had another tour lined up after ours and that he did not want to be late for it. Our guide knew what he was talking about and definitely taught us alot even if he skipped a few things.
Tips
Try to book your tour in advance. Check the museum website and also call and speak to someone. Also, try to get a longer tour just to make sure that you do not miss out on anything important.
