The price paid was for a guided tour with an employee of the local art museum around the various exhibitions that were currently being housed at the facility in a small group of about fifteen individuals. The tour guide was a long time employee of the museum who had experience in the art world going back some years, so the background knowledge that she had about the various pieces on display was interesting and relevant to the actual work instead of just being general information that is read off of a cue card or out of a pamphlet. The tour was paced well and offered enough diversity in the various pieces that were shown that the average person could take it all in and appreciate the works on display without feeling rushed. It was, all in all, a great way to spend an afternoon.
