College Cooking Class - Asian style
Asian-style cooking class offered at a college  more... close row

Description of service

A class offered at my college that was open to all adults, but catering mainly to students. It focused on Asian style cooking, such as sushi, teriyaki chicken, and chow mein. Also, a recipe book was included that listed the recipes we learned in the class. The class lasted for one day for two hours, and was free to observe, but cost ten dollars to actually make the food.

Review of Service

This class was very fun and cheap! College classes are usually very pricey, but sometimes they offer classes for little or no cost to everyone. Also, I liked how interactive the class was. With only a few dollars, I was able to create wonderful meals that I never would have dreamed of creating. In addition, I was amazed at how much I learned in such a short period of time. I recommend these types of classes to anybody even remotely interested in cooking.

Tips

Make sure to know what types of classes are being offered, because often you can find something that interests you and is free or cheap. This can really broaden your horizons and teach you new things that you never knew before. Also, keep a lookout on college bulletin boards for upcoming classes that are normally attended by college kids only. Often, these are the best classes.
