Description of service
This was a one time, four hour cooking class that occurred in a week long series of cooking classes. You could take one class, or take the entire week for $800. The classes covered everything from food safety to desserts and everything in between, with the class sitting down to a meal together after every class. All the food and materials was provided and included in the price.
Review of Service
This cooking class was very fun. The class was limited in size, so everyone got the personal attention they needed. There were ten identical cooking stations set up just like the chefs, with all students able to see what the chef was doing and completing the task at the same time. This class was over breakfast, and covered the most popular ways to prepare eggs, including soft boiled, hard boiled, poached, fried, and scrambled. We also learned how to cook other breakfast foods, including grits, oatmeal, gravy, and how to prepare the perfect pancakes and waffles without using a mix. It was very fun and informative, and we got to sit down to a lovely meal after the class was over and ask the chef questions. It was definitely worth the $125.
Tips
My only suggestion would be to get a friend to sign up for the class with you and to call around to different cooking schools to see what prices are the best.
