Description of service
Last month, I paid $150 for 4 weeks of Asian food cooking classes. This price included the class meeting once a week for two hours each class. It also included use of all of the cooking school's utensils, pots, pans and the ingredients provided for each dish as well as the recipe to take home of what we were making.
Review of Service
The class was so much fun. I took it with a friend of mine, and we had a blast and made some delicious dishes. The teacher was extremely personable and patient. Each week we made a dish from a different Asian country - China, Japan, Thailand and the Koreas. The teacher carefully explained each detail of the meal prep and cooking before we started. She then wandered around the room helping when needed and chatting when not. The food was all great, and I usually was able to make enough to take home to my family to try.I learned a lot and became comfortable using a wok and other cooking tools that I had previously avoided. Now when the family feels like sushi, orange chicken or thai noodles, I can make them at home rather than us having to go out to eat!
Tips
Take your cooking class with a friend. It will make it more fun and you can learn while spending quality time together!
