the Price of a Cooking Class

I signed up for a cooking class in November to help me learn how to better prepare a thanksgiving dinner. The class was four hours long each day for three days. They showed us how to make everything you could eat during a traditional thanksgiving meal. The total cost for everything was $150, and this price included the food and lessons. They also provided the cooking utensils.

The lessons were awesome! The whole reason I took this class was to learn how to make a turkey. Last year I under cooked the bird and some people got sick. I learned how to make the turkey, stuffing, home made mashed potatoes, yams, steamed veggies, home made biskits, home made pumpking pie and a whole slew of desserts. I had a great time, and I learned a lot. I would suggest this class to anyone who needs to learn how to cook.

I have taken a bunch of classes, but have not learned as much as I did during this cooking class. Plus, it was a great time. These lessons would be great for the new mom or wife who hasn't cooked much in the past. I found the classes through a friend, but you can look online for similar classes, or check your local schools. They sometimes offer classes like this.
