Description of service
I paid for 20 sessions of reflexology care for myself which had been an addition to my daughter's program which had already cost me $1000. The visits were scheduled 2-3 per week and also included initial x-rays for me to check the curvature of my spine and neck as I suffer from migraines and neck pain. This service also allowed both of us to be treated with the BAX 3000 which is supposed to treat allergies.
Review of Service
I found the staff and practioners to be very friendly and helpful in scheduling appointments when I could bring my school-aged daughter as well instead of making separate trips. The treatments were pleasant, fairly quick, and relaxing for the most part. After awhile though I questioned whether they were actually having any effect and did not like that suggestions were now being made to encourage me to buy pricey pill supplements to further the effectivness of the treatments. Since none of these treatments were covered by insurance it just stands to reason the staff would be very nice to us.
Tips
I am not at all opposed to alternative medicine as long as traditional methods are also utilized. I would be wary of outrageous claims of being able to fix everything from allergies, migraines and learning disabilities. I do not believe any one treatment could possible have such far ranging abilities and still be on the fringe of traditional medicine. Keeping an open mind is great but don't let yourself be separated from hard earned money unless you are very certain of the validity of the claims being proposed to you.
