Description of service
The reflexology appointment I paid 35.00 for lasted 30 minutes. I was told to arrive 15 minutes early to fill out the paperwork, which I did. The therapist was in a doctor's office and had her own quiet suite off the reception area. The therapist asked me some questions about why I was there and reviewed my information form then got right to work on my feet. She used essential oils and massage oil on my feet while she did reflexology pressure points.
Review of Service
The service was excellent. It was my first appointment with this therapist, but not my first reflexology appointment, so I knew what to expect. The greeting by the doctors staff was pleasant and professional, the paper work was not to lengthy. The therapist was on time and took me into the treatment room right as scheduled. The room its self was comfortable, with relaxing music playing. The therapist asked me enough questions that I felt like she knew my concerns, but not so many that I felt she was wasting time. Her treatment was what I expected, no surprises, and that means it was good. She gave me some recommendations ( diet, need for a follow up visit) at the end of the appointment and I appreciated that.
Tips
Ask about tipping when you make your appointment- in a salon I would tip with out question, in a doctors office I wasn't sure. Ask of course, how long the therapist has been practicing this technique, and if they are certified. Ask if you will be filling out paperwork and if so, should you arrive early to do so. Do you have to bring anything with you- Like cotton socks to put on after the treatment? Will the therapist recommend any exercises, dietary changes or life style changes as well as work on your reflexology points?
