the Price of Reflexology

I received an hour session of reflexology about a year ago, a service that is similar to a foot massage, only reflexology is using pressure points on the feet to affect the nerves and organs in a beneficial way. The reflexologist I went to touched on all areas of the foot during that hour, which created a very relaxed feeling over my entire body, almost like a state of euphoria! The feeling is different from that of getting a massage, where the whole body, mainly the muscles, is touched upon.

For my first visit, I was given a 'first-time' discount, which amounted to $60.00 minus tip. The session after that, I paid the normal $80.00 fee, plus a small tip. This was purely for an hour session on my feet. Other services were offered as well.

The quality of the service I received was excellent! The reflexologist I visited was very friendly and open to discussion, accomodating, willing to work with me regarding location of the session (she did both home and outcalls), and I feel the price was right for the service I received. She was very knowledgeable about her trade and understood how the 'touchpoints' on the foot affected my body. I left feeling renewed and invigorated, and very relaxed.

I would recommend, if possible, NOT having to drive or do anything immediately after the session, since it puts you in a state of such relaxation and contentment afterwards. I would also recommend making sure that the reflexologist is very knowledgeable about his/her trade and NOT someone who's there just to massage your feet. They should understand the touchpoints of your feet and how they affect your body.
