The cost of piano lessons in our home was $30 per class. There was a 3-month commitment required, although you just pay monthly. The sessions last 30 minutes. The cost included a practice song book. Obviously, we had to supply our own piano. The classes took place each Tuesday.

We wanted to start my son on piano lessons, and were fortunate enough to find a lady that was willing to come to our home. The piano teacher was, obviously, really good at playing the piano. She was very excited when she taught, which got my son very interested in learning. She was very patient and knew how to engage my son in the lesson. I thought the price was reasonable.
Tips
If you are looking for a piano teacher for your child or for yourself, you should consider many things. First, you should look at the cost per lesson. You should also consider the length of the lesson. Would you rather the instructor come to your home, or would you be willing to go to the instructor for the lesson? You should also find out if books are included in the class price. Also, is there a minimum number of class that have to be taken?
