This price was for the hair straightening only, no tip. Had the service been better it would have called for a tip. However, the quality of service I received did not qualify for a tip.
Review of Service
This was not the best salon experience I have ever had. Instead of taking her time, the stylist would spray my hair with a water bottle to make the straightening go faster, but it also dried out my hair. Aside from also bumping my head with the straightened, she left my ends slightly curled--so all of my hair was not straightened completely.
Tips
Unless you have super long hair, it is easy to straighten you hair at home. Remember that temporary is exactly that--temporary! A few hours after I had my hair straightened it started to morph into its old shape. Besides that as soon as you wash your hair the straightening effect is gone as well. I, unfortunately, will be considering straightening my hair myself as I could do a better job at home than with the stylist did. If you do have your hair professionally styled, remember to watch them carefully when they straighten the top of your head. If they do not start directly at your scalp over your whole head, your hair will lay funny.
