the Price of Temporary Hair Straightening

We had my daughter's hair temporarily straightened at a hair salon in our area. She was going to a special occasion dance and she wanted to really change her normal look with a drastic change that would really stand out. She has pretty wavy hair, so it is hard to straighten it on our own and have it look really nice. We went to a local place after calling around to find a salon with an opening on the day of the big dance. She went in and had her hair trimmed beforehand to make it turn out even better.

The stylist who did the trim and the straightening did a very good job. She really took her time to make sure she got it all done. With the thickness and wavy texture it was a pretty big job and it took about 30 minutes just to do the straightening, once the hair was trimmed and dried. She dried the hair on a big brush to start the process and she used some kind of straightening cream that helped make it very smooth and silky. We were very pleased with this salon and stylist and I am sure we will go back when the next hair cut is due.

I think it really helped telling the receptionist that we were getting ready for a special occasion. The worked harder to make an appointment that worked for us, and they treated my daughter extra special. It made it a very positive experience overall.
