I paid about $25 to have my hair temporarily straightened for a wedding. The price included a wash and dry, a trim, and the straightening itself. The whole process took about 3 hours, so it was a great price.
Review of Service
I think the service that I received was absolutely excellent. I couldn't believe the price included the hair wash, dry and a trim! The stylist was very knowledgeable and informed, and let me ask any questions, and answered everything I needed to know. The only thing I didn't really like about the service was how many products were used to get my hair straight. In the long run though, I have a feeling that's probably necessary to keep it as sleek, shiny, and straight as it was. I think the service was an absolutely excellent value for the price, I couldn't have asked for a better priced service.
Tips
If you're in the market for a hair straightening, definitely price shop. While I got a really great price, I found some amazingly ridiculous prices as well. One salon wanted at minimum $50 JUST for the straightening! I do, however, wish I had known how many chemicals they used beforehand. My hair was a little fried for a few days after.
