Description of service
My back and stomach were covered with moles and skin wens. They were driving me crazy they were so itchy. I'd sit in the tub and scratch and sometimes they would bleed. I made an appointment to see a dermatologist to see what could be done. When I went to see him I was informed that for the cost of removing a mole was $85.00. The procedure is called cryosurgery. Liquid nitrogen is sprayed on it and it would turn red, scab over and then fall off with little to no scaring after a period of months. However, since I was there if I could stand it, since I was there, I could have as many of the moles and skin wens removed as I wanted all for the same price of $85.00.
Review of Service
It didn't take me too long on my decision. I figured this would be a piece of cake. I removed my top and he let me put on a johnny and I let him start. I was really shocked how much it stung. It felt like someone putting a cigarette to my body, but I wanted those things gone for good. He was very kind and kept asking me if I was doing ok. After a while I was actually getting used to the perpetual sting and he worked as fast as he could. Every one of the moles were sprayed. By that evening I couldn't even sit back on the couch. I had a total of twenty six moles and skin wens removed from my back and four from my stomach. It did take a almost two weeks for the scabs to fall off and I was very concerned I would be scarred, but almost every trace of the procedure faded out. I was thrilled.
Tips
See your doctor for any moles to make sure they are not cancerous. Your insurance may cover most of the procedure if it is deemed necessary.
