Description of service
I paid $40 for a consultation and then $150 for each skin tags I was going to have removed. I had the dermatologist remove two so my total came out to $340. The consultation lasted about 20 minutes. We discussed my skin tags and some other procedures I might like to have done in the future. I went in a second time for the skin tag removal. It was very quick and the whole procedure was done in under an hour.
Review of Service
I was very pleased with the procedure. I was really bothered about the skin tags and they were in an uncomfortable location. My bra was always rubbing against them and it irritated me. The whole removal process was pain free and I would do it again in a second. Depending on the location of the skin tag, the dermatologist will either freeze it off, cut it off with scissors or a scalpel. Mine used a scalpel and it only took a few days to completely heal. I don't have any scars from the removal and I am completely satisfied.
Tips
Do your research and ask other people what they think of that dermatologist if it is your first visit. Don't just agree to have anything done because the doctor is offering a lot of deals. My dermatologist was trying to get me to do other procedures as well when I went in for my consultation, but I took them into consideration and politely declined.
