Description of service
I went to my local gym and decided to get shared personal training with a gym buddy of mine. The total price for 2 people with one trainer was 40$ apiece. There was no tax or gratuity awarded for the service, just the 40$ flat fee for each of us. This 40$ was good for two days a week, for two weeks, for a combined 4 sessions. Making it about 10$ a session, not a bad deal.
Review of Service
It was only me and my friend, so the attention was equally divided, and the trainer was excellent at what he did. The money was well spent as I felt I learned and achieved as much if I was doing this by myself. However, I couldn't imagine it being a good service with more than three people at a time. Considering it would be more expensive if I did it alone, I would definitely do this again.
Tips
When you are looking into getting shared personal training, I would give a few tips. Shop around for the best service, don't settle with your first instinct. Make sure you train with a person who is willing to exercise and push you as well as themselves. When doing shared training I would not recommend more then two people at a time, as you may not get the attention you need. My last bit of advice would be to train with a friend and not a complete stranger as it may make the experience a better one.
