Description of service
This personal trainer owned his own gym; fees included use of the equipment and facilities and one hour of group session, which was either weight training, aerobics, or spinning class. One on one sessions could be had for an increased rate.
Review of Service
The cost of one on one sessions were too high so I had to settle for group sessions. I didn't like that I had a window that I had to make for my workout; my schedule doesn't always allow for the times he had available and this led to me having to either sacrifice my work and home routine or miss workout sessions, which costs money each time. The trainer was really well informed and helpful but ultimately it was the timing of the workouts that led to me returning to my old gym across town.
Tips
Personal trainers are only as helpful as the access you have to them. I guess the gym franchises really have a major advantage over a smaller gym like this one. I appreciate the more personal nature of a smaller gym, but I felt like the benefits outweighed the costs since my workout schedule wasn't able to work with the rest of my life.
