Description of service
The service was a repair of our fridge. It is a freezer/refrigerator combo, and is about 5-years old. I am not the jack-of-all trades type, so had to call for repair. The repair man told me it was a freon problem. He was there for about a half hour. The $150 fee represented the total for the labor and parts combined.
Review of Service
I was happy with the service. Pain free, in and out. Fridge was working again so I was happy. Professional and curteous. My only complaint was the price. I thought $150 was excessive, but then again, I don't know much about appliance repair. I just got frustrated, because for $600 I can buy a pretty decent new fridge, so it hurt paying $150 just to fix this one with no gaurantee that it won't happen again.
Tips
My tip would be to purchase a warranty when you originally purchase your fridge, as long as it isn't too excessive in price. If it is under $100 and lasts more than 3 years, I would say go for it. It seems tough to avoid a bill under $150 if you call for even the most basic of service.
