Description of service
This service was for a repair man from a nation wide retailer to come to my house and fix my refrigerator, which was no longer keeping my food cold. I called the service department, and they sent a repair man to my house the very next day. He was at my home for a total of thirty minutes and the total charge was $45, which covered parts as my warranty covered labor.
Review of Service
Calling the service provider was a pain. It's hard to troubleshoot a refrigerator over the phone and it seemed like their customer service agent was annoyed to have to send someone out. The repair man was the total opposite. He was very kind and considerate of my home. He didn't make a mess, and most of all didn't scratch my hard wood floors when he was moving the refrigerator around. I thought it was going to take a few hours, but he was gone and my fridge was fixed in about thirty minutes.
Tips
Since my refrigerator was under warranty I had to call my provider, but if yours isn't you can call around to see where the best prices are. Check the phone book and the internet. You can also ask around, usually a friend of family member is good at fixing such things.
