Description of service
My refrigerator of six years stopped working about a week ago and I would have lost a lot of food if it wasn't for the fact that I live in a cold climate. Luckily I was able to pack the frozen food on ice in my back patio. It wound up being the compressor that broke and it was going to cost about $300 for the compressor and another $50 for the service tech. I think I got a break because he was at my house for about one an hour and ten minutes. And I was only charge for one. Usually they charge for the second hour the second you go over by one minute. Good news for me I guess.
Review of Service
The tech was friendly and worked very fast in my opinion. He had the old compressor taken out in about 30 minutes and the new one installed and running in about another 30 minutes. I don't like to pay for something to be repaired that isn't old enough to need repairing, but If I do need the service I will surely call this repair company again.
Tips
You should shop around, but sometimes in a situation where you need it to really live I would say that convenience is a bit more important that cost.
