Description of service
My refrigerator wasn't keeping my food cold any more so I called a local appliance repair shop who came to my home and investigated the problem. The repair man told me that something was wrong with the "core". I had no clue what this was since I don't know how to fix it, so I had the repair man fix it. I was charged a total of $90.00 and that same day my refrigerator was back up and running.
Review of Service
I give the service an A-. The cost was less than having to pay for a new refrigerator, and was fixed really quickly. The repair man made a bit of a mess, and he scratched my hard wood floors when he moved the refrigerator - but it wasn't that bad and I didn't mind it too much. I was really happy with the price and the service as a whole.
Tips
There isn't much you can do. If your refrigerator goes out, you have to have it fixed or replace very quickly or you run the chance of having to buy all new food. If you have a back up refrigerator, or if you're not in a hurry, call around to different repair places to see how much it will cost to have the problem fixed. Sometimes you can get your "fix it" friends or family members to help you with problems like this.
