Description of service
In home service of refrigerator. The in-door ice maker was jammed and wasn't producing ice. We use the ice maker daily and we had a party coming up as well so we needed it fixed as soon as possible. I had tried taking everything apart but could find the problem.
Review of Service
The service man was local repair guy recommended by the guy who does the maintainence on the house. He gave us a two hour window which he met. He came in a performed the service by taking apart the door and getting to the ice dispenser parts I couldn't get to. He cleaned and oiled the parts in the door and put everything back together. Eveything was done quickly and professionally. The ice maker is now working perfectly as expected. He also cleaned the coils in the back of the fridge to help it cool better and cleaned the front vents out too.
Tips
As always, I find that going with a recommendation from someone you can trust is priceless. Finding a good and honest service person is difficult sometimes. By going with someone's recommendation who has use the service as well, you are rewarding previous good work with repeat business.
