Description of service
My headlights were malfunctioning and I didn't even know it. I was driving through a canyon and every car in oncoming traffic kept flickering their lights at me. It turned out that the bulb on my right headlight went out and needed to be replaced. I took it to my cousin's boyfriend who works at a dealership and was a certified Lexus repairman. He replaced the bulb and charged me $300 for parts and labor. The receipt said the bulb was $200 and he charged me $100 for labor costs. It took less than two hours for the whole process to be done.
Review of Service
When I first went to the dealership shop I was told that my bulb would have to be ordered and it would have taken two days to repair my headlight problem. Luckily, the guys in the shop had a bulb in stock, but just didn't know it. That was my only scare and I don't know anything about cars at all. I was very lucky to know my cousin's boyfriend who worked there because he gave me a discount and the service was done in two hours compared to two days.
Tips
I have heard that headlight bulbs can cost up to $400 to replace from my friend who also has a Lexus. Consider buying the bulb from another shop and not directly from Lexus to save a considerable amount of money.
