Description of service
We own a Lexus GS 350 and it has been an outstanding vehicle. Last summer the rear air conditioning system ws not operating correctly. We took it to the dealer where we had purchased it for repairs. The total cost ws for labor and a shop supplies cost only, and was $365
Review of Service
The service was as good as advertised by Lexus. They were very careful and had a clean, well supplied waiting room. The Service Advisor kept me informed as to the progress and the expected completion time. The problem with the air conditioning in the rear was that some type of "gum" had been forced into the vents and had not only closed them but had ruined a sensor. Although I expected to be charged for labor and parts they only charged me for the labor portion. The parts were a customer service courtesy.
Teh value was not only good it was outstanding. One of my grandchildren had apparently forced his play spray into the unit. When we drive, they are always in a safety seat. How it happened, who knows.
Tips
I don't think this could have been foreseen and obviousley, our grndchildren are aware of what happened. They were reminded of how to take care of someone's property, given a "stern" lecture about it, and a hug.
Wishing that I had know the cause is not a practical solution. Trying to reinforce proper behavior at every opportunity is a better idea.
