This service took all day. The place provided a loaner car however, which was better than lounging in the customer waiting area all day. Although I feel that the labor charges were a bit much, the service I actually received was good. Everything was finished and in order 2 hours before they said the car would be ready. The belt no longer squeals at all when starting and driving. Everything was performed/installed correctly. Would recommend taking the car to the dealer because they provide a free loaner car. There was no hassle returning the loaner either--was as simple as just handing them back the keys. They did not nitpick the car or look for damage to charge me for.

Timing belt change is a must once you reach close to 90,000 miles with your Lexus. Our car was just over 85,000 when it started to squeal when it started up and even while driving. We took it in and it was because the timing belt was wearing out and needed to be replaced. It is an expensive procedure but very vital to the longevity of the car.
