Description of service
I was hit pretty bad on the freeway from behind, and my car was totalled (or so I thought). My rear fender was completely smashed into the trunk, so my car looked like somebody had tried to punch a big hole in the back of the car. I was pretty distraught, but luckily I was able to find a repair guy that was able to fix it.
Review of Service
The price was pretty expensive. $9000 is not cheap, but considering that my lexus cost about $35,000, I think the repair was worth it. The repair was kind of slow, it took about a week and a half to complete the entire repair, but once it was done, it was as good as new. There were no visible marks or indication of damage and I was impressed by the professionalism of the service. I was happy with the overall finished product.
Tips
Never give up hope! No matter how bad the damage, if a professional looks at it and determines it is fixable and your car will be good as new, then DO IT! For expensive cars especially, it is better to fix than buy a replacement car. Also, get estimates from multiple mechanics. This way you know if you're getting a good deal or not.
