To maintain the environment and keep it clean and green, it is mandatory that all cars should pass the smog test. My car had just undergone a lot of repair work and someone advised me to get the smog test done. Also it had been around six months since i had got the check done. I had to pay $40 for the smog check.
Review of Service
The quality of the service was quite good. This time i had to pay $5 less than what i paid for the same service last year. I took around forty five minutes to get free. My car had passed the smog check test and i could now drive freely throught the streets of the city knowing that the emissions of my car were well within the prescribed levels.
Tips
First of all, prefer taking an appointment before going for the smog check or else be prepared to wait in the long queues. Secondly, you must go in for smog check at regular intervals. You may go to any place, be it a local small garage or a big company authorized showroom. Everything is same except, of course, the cost of the service. Company service stations charge slightly on the higher side.
