Description of service
I had a tire with a slow leak and was leaving for vacation in NC the next day. I went to a new/used tire center on Route 40 to buy a cheap used tire to last at least until after vacation. I bought the tire for $20 and the service tech offered to install and balance it for only $5 more. I was going to have my brother-in-law take care of it for me but jumped on the opportunity to have it taken care of immediately and was very pleased with the price.
Review of Service
The service I received was top-notch. The technicians were helpful and polite, and the service was aptly performed in a very timely manner. The tire was high-quality, you couldn't even tell it was used! We waited in the shop's waiting room while the service was completed, which was sparsely decorated but clean and AIR CONDITIONED! The tech working on our vehicle was careful and deliberate, but completed his job quickly and even cleaned up a small black smudge he accidentally put on the side of the car!
Tips
Sometimes the small-business auto shops offer great bargains, just be cautious of using a service you are unfamiliar with. Do your research so the only ride you take in in your newly repaired vehicle!
