i took my truck to a major tire retailer. i was sure that something was wrong with the tires. i received a full tire inspection. i was shown that there was uneven wear on the tires. i also remarked to the mechanic that my truck was pulling to one side more than it should be. after the truck was inspected, i was informed that i would need to have 2 tires replaced and the truck would need an alignment.
Review of Service
they safely removed and replaced the 2 tires. they correctly replaced and adjusted the alignment of the truck. i have not noticed any pulling in the truck since then. i was impressed with the way the mechanic explained everything to me, why the tires needed the alignment, what the alignment was for, and all the costs involved.
Tips
i would definitly recommend that you don't wait to get this repair. it is best to call around because most places will have some kind of discount or coupon that you can use. make sure that they look at the tires and fully inspect your car before getting an alignment because sometimes your wheels can just need balancing and that is a fraction of what a vehicle alignment would cost.
