the Cost of Wheel Alignment and Tire Installation

We had a flat tire and so went in to a tire store. We decided to have 2 tires replaced, as well as having a wheel alignment. The price noted above was for the cost of the alignment. The tire installation, itself, was included in the price of the tires, but we had to pay $19.99 for each of the newly purchased tires to have them balanced. We also had to pay a tire disposal fee of $3.85 for each tire. We also opted for a $25.00 tire protection plan, which includes free re-balancing, free rotation, and flat repair.

We were very satisfied with the service we received. We explained that we were on vacation and had a limited amount of time to spend in San Francisco. The customser service agent was very polite and said that he would have our car worked on at the earliest possible time. He then gave us a time estimate. The work was done with 15 minutes of his estimate. Everyone we dealt with at the facility was very polite.

While I realize that this is not the place to name a facility, I suggest that you make sure you go to a place that has up to date equipment, and that you are aware of all the costs before the work is done.
