the Price of Youth Football

Our son is currently involved in the youth footbal league in our area. The price for the league was $150 which included a jersey only for each child, eight weeks of games which you had one game each Saturday, and an end of the season playoffs which was held on the Saturday of the ninth week. We had additional payments for pictures which were not included in the price of the league.

The quality of the service could have been better. The leagues was not as organized as we would have hoped but the coach we had was great with the kids and taugh them a lot about the sport. He held regular practices and always prepared them for the game each week. The service provided by the league was definately the worst part about the league. If you have questions or concerns you should be able to quickly get in touch with someone to get them resolved and this league did not return calls or emails promptly. Although the service i received was not so good, my son had a great time, met a lot of new friends, and received a lot of experience in the sport. Overall it was a great value for the price.

Research leagues, during some seasons they leagues will have less turn out than others so you want to make sure you are getting the most out of your registration fee. You would hate to pay $150 and there only be two other teams in the league.
