the Price of Youth Football

Youth Football is an organization that provides the framework for a player at any level to come in and learn to play football. They take every level, from beginner to experienced players and place them on teams to learn the skills and strategies to play the game of football. They work every day in the beginning to establish some good endurance and stamina. The kids get in really good physical shape. Then they begin to work on specific skills needed to play the game well. In general the fee you pay covers the cost of the use of the fields and equipment, referees, and a uniform that is on loan for the season. The helmet is included, but many of the boys will buy their own helmet and pads. Some coaches require that as an additional expense for reasons of cleanliness.

This is a great community organization that we feel fortunate to have in our area. There are a few teams here and we travel up to about 45 minutes away for some games. It sounds like a lot at first, but you get into the rhythm of things and it is really a lot of fun. My son felt like he really learned about how to play the game and even got some plays down. He came in as a beginner, but really excelled at his positions and got more playing time than we expected. The coaches work well together, and try to break the team into small groups to do drills and teach plays. That was a big help!

Try to find a company to sponsor your team. You will be able to purchase better equipment or possibly keep the pads and jerseys. It is also good advertising for the company. Everyone likes a company that supports Youth sports!
