Description of service
Last fall I signed my 9 year old son up for the youth football program in my area. The total cost of the service was $175 which included everything he needed to play. He received a jersey, protective pads, helmet, mouth guard and was given refreshments at every game and practice.
Review of Service
The service was good, exactly what I expected - nothing more, nothing less. He got to play in eight games over an eight week period. Practice ran twice a week in the evening and lasted about two hours. The only thing that we didn't like was that my son did not get to pick which team he was on, and he didn't get to play with some of his best friends. Other than that, everything was perfect and it looked like everyone involved had a good time - and the kids got to excersize, which is the most important thing.
Tips
One of the downers was that my son did not get to play with who he wanted to play with. It wasn't a big deal, but we found out later that if we would have asked sooner, he would have been on the same team as his friend. So if you have a situation like this, my tip is to ask before the teams are announced.
