Review of Service
In order to have your child on the team you must agree to work at the consession stand for 2 gamse, this is manditory and if you do not work for your games you child is not allowed to play. You have to work the stand, you can not get someone to fill in for you, such as another family member, etc. This was a problem with a mom I knew because of her work schedule and they would not let her mom, the kids's grandma, fill in. Your child also has to participate in a fund raiser selling stuff to friends and family. They have to have a minimum of $50 in orders. You also have to bring a snack and drink from the approved snack list every other week. You also must stay and be present for all team practices. They team pratices 4 days a week and has one game a week, so that is 5 night s week for football. The fees were $85, but I think I am low at thinking the final cost with the practice shorts, snacks, etc was $400.
Tips
I did one season and told my son never ever again. Find out EVERYTHING that is expected before you sign up. Talk to other parents who have already had kids in the league you are interested in. Attend a few games to see how things are run and meet the parents. Also you can watch the kids to see if you want yoru child around them.
