the Price of Little League

It cost $120.00 for registration for eight weeks of little league for my six year old boy. This includes the registration fee and it included the uniform. We were also required to buy shoes, glove, and a bat. This includes two one hour practices and one game each week.

My children are always involved in some type of sports or other activities. This was the first time that my little boy had any interest in playing little league t-ball. Some of his friends from school were signing up and he wanted to play too. Compared to the price of other sports, little league is expensive. It is also more competitive than other sports, like soccer. However, he has enjoyed playing and learned how to play a new sport (at least somewhat). I beleive in getting kids away from the television and video games, so it is worth the money.

Getting your children involved in sports is a great way to keep them active and meet new friends. Sometimes community centers offer better prices. You will spending a lot of time at practice and games, so location is also an important factor to consider when you are choosing a league for children.
