Think it is a good thing gets kids out of the house and active. Also teachs them how to play as team. Gives them a chance to met new people and make new firends that they may not have met due to being in different schools.Organized team sports are great for self-esteem, relating to peers and simply for having a good time. Sign up for a local softball league early and enjoy years of healthy competition.
Tips
Find out who the couch is and talk to them before you sign up.
If your child has special needs, talk to the league representative to find out what kind of accommodations are available.
Make sure that everything your child will need is included in the sign up fees.
If your child is a competitor and you would like to know which Little League in your area is more challenging, find out which league won the Sectionals tournament the year before.Check on playing time and practice times to make sure you will be able to get your child to games and practice on time.Check about refunds in case smoething comes up and your child is not able to play some places you can get a full refund if you cancle by end of registration and 50% by opening day.just go and have fun and try not to push your kids to hard into the game or you loses what really matters which is you and your child are there to have fun!!!
