Description of service
There is a little league baseball league in town that only goes on during the winter. I ended up paying 35 dollars for the actual league cost, which included a shirt and hat, 25 dollars for a baseball bat, and 18 dollars for a baseball glove. Overall I ended up paying 78 dollars which was a great deal.
Review of Service
This Little League team is amazing. It really harbors a sense of well-being, good sportsmanship, and community. Games are a lot of fun with the children really honing their skills in a positive environment. Children learn the value of team play, good sportsmanship, leadership, and athleticism. The rules of play are explained and practiced in order to create the best possible league team possible. It is kind of pricey, however, for just a few weeks of play, and I am not sure I will continue with Little League after the first stretch of the season is complete.
Tips
If you live in a big city there are probably numerous Little League teams. Check around for sign-up fees and prices, and make sure that you are absolutely clear on what the sign-up fee provides . Also consider volunteering your time with your child's team-this will help keep the fees lower in the future. Many teams rely heavily on parental volunteers to help the coaches, drive the team to games, and provide snacks and water.
